Position Summary

At Jet Aviation Basel, our Electricians help bring high-end business jets to life. Working on our Business Jets Completion Line, installing and testing electrical systems as part of the interior outfitting process. Your skills and attention to detail will ensure everything functions perfectly and meets the highest standards. Join our team and be part of building exceptional aircraft for our customers.

 

As we continue to evolve our site and services to support the needs of our customers, we are growing our team in Basel. We are looking for a number of Electricians to be part of this journey.

Your position

 

  • Electrical System Installation: Install electrical systems and connect cabin monuments in accordance with engineering drawings and 2D schematics. Harnesses are to be manufactured and routed either in the workshop, on a jig, or directly within the aircraft.
  • Tool and Material Selection: Select appropriate tools, hardware, and materials for electrical terminations. Apply best practices to ensure accurate routing and high-quality harness assembly.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Perform continuity tests and assist in troubleshooting activities to ensure the correct functioning of the installed systems.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Report issues identified during installation and maintain accurate documentation for full traceability of all components and processes.

Your role

 

  • Completed vocational training as an electrician or a comparable qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the aviation or automotive sector
  • Ability to follow OEM standards (e.g., Airbus, Boeing, Gulfstream, Dassault), including compliance with Service Bulletins and AMM tasks
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and engineering drawings
  • Good working knowledge of various electrical testing equipment and tools
  • Strong motivation to continue developing technical skills
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to support colleagues
  • Good English skills; knowledge of German or French is advantageous
