Position Summary


Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director Global Communications to join our leadership team. In this high-impact role, you will shape and lead our global communications strategy — strengthening our brand, supporting business growth, and driving meaningful engagement across internal and external audiences. Reporting to the Senior Vice President Global Brand, Marketing & Customer, you will serve as a key strategic partner to senior leadership across global and regional teams. You’ll lead an international team of communications professionals and be at the forefront of how we tell our story.

Your role

 

  • Strategic storytelling: Develop and execute creative communication strategies for global and EMEA audiences, aligning with business goals, values, and vision. Ensure messaging is inclusive, accessible, and engaging across all channels.
  • Trusted advisor: Act as a strategic communications partner to senior leaders globally and in EMEA. Drive impactful storytelling and identify opportunities to support business growth.
  • Employee engagement: Partner with HR to deliver internal communications and engagement initiatives that support strategic priorities, using consistent, creative, and effective messaging.
  • Global media relations: Build strong relationships with international media, manage inquiries, and lead proactive PR and reputation efforts.
  • Governance & consistency: Define and implement communications policies, tools, and standards to ensure alignment and quality across all regions.
  • Business information management: Ensure accurate, timely business information is always available to relevant audiences, delivering consistent messaging across cultures to support governance and reputation management.
  • Content leadership: Drive and champion informative, engaging content across all channels to promote the business, in collaboration with Digital, Marketing, and Brand—enhancing customer experience and ROI.
  • Crisis communications: Lead issue and crisis response strategies to protect and enhance the company’s reputation.
  • Team leadership: Inspire and lead a global team of communication professionals, fostering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Insights & improvement: Leverage analytics to evaluate communications impact and optimize strategies across platforms and formats.

Your profile

 

  • 10+ years of senior-level experience in corporate communications or public affairs, ideally in complex, international environments
  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
  • Proven ability to develop and manage large-scale, creative global communication strategies, plans, and teams
  • Skilled at translating business needs into targeted, strategic communications across multiple channels
  • Excellent active listening, with the ability to quickly synthesize information and provide clear, actionable insights
  • Demonstrated success in driving organizational transformation and innovation
  • Strong experience in issues and crisis communications, including media and reputation management
  • Trusted business partner with proven ability to influence and build relationships at all levels, including senior leadership
  • Experienced in cross-functional, matrixed environments and working across cultures
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including building and managing diverse teams
  • Native English speaker with exceptional writing and proofreading skills
  • Analytical, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and tight deadlines
