Description
Our Cabinet Shop creates lightweight furniture that is as functional as it is beautiful. Our staff has been highly trained in the fine arts of woodworking and Veneering and has the advanced skills to do work such as hardwood mouldings, inlays, exotic veneer applications and many other complex furniture designs. It is important to us that the details of your work are exactly the way our customers want them. To achieve that high level of customization and quality, we do much of the work by hand. You will work in our State-of-the-Art Cabinet Shop and start manufacturing furniture from the 3D model to the final exquisite Cabinet.
Main Responsibilities
Manufactures complex Interior cabinet monuments and components as instructed by his/her supervision or management on:
- Cabinets, Credenza, Vanity, Galleys, Toilets, Bulkheads, Doors, Decors, Tables, Seats and Divan, Shower, components.
- Performs modifications, repairs on monuments and components.
- Works actively and in good intelligence within the Cabinet Shop Team.
- Identical main responsibilities as Cabinet Technician 1.
- Manufactures complex monuments and other wood-surfaced subassemblies using process specifications and 3D/2D design/engineering drawings with a standard level of safety, quality, detail, and productivity.
- Performs major repairs and modifications.
- Cuts and applies materials such as Hard Laminate, Tedlar or wood veneers with glue spray gun to cover surfaces of complex 2D shape cabinetry.
- Cuts and bonds mouldings on straight & complex 2D shape monuments.
- Manufactures Burn Test samples in accordance with Engineering Test Plan.
- Assists team members with great experience to enhance techniques of quality workmanship.
- Supports Senior Cabinet Technicians to develop and implement process improvements.
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
Duties
- Identical Duties as Cabinet Technician 1.
- Responsible for own work quality and timely completion and performance.
- Supports continuous improvement action tasks.
- Can perform Installation in A/C under Supervision.
- Demonstrates capability to learn other disciplines and skills.
- Supports EH&S, 5S monthly Audits and Lean Manufacturing.
- Research approved documents in JPMS IT platform.
Qualifications
- Knowledge in reading and understanding 3D Models files & 2D manufacturing drawing and assemblies.
- Handles aerospace VIP materials and uses appropriate tools.
- Experience in Similar aviation business.
Educations Requirements
- Cabinet maker apprenticeship without educational qualifications.
- Or Basic Cabinet Maker support functions.
- Reached Technician Level 1 and some of Technician Level 2.
