Position Summary
Jet Aviation Basel operates one of the world’s leading VIP aircraft completion facilities. Within our Paint Detailing Team, we are responsible for the final appearance and finishing quality of newly completed Gulfstream G700 aircraft and other business jets.
We are looking for skilled and quality-driven professionals who take pride in precision work and delivering an exceptional aircraft finish.
Your mission
- Perform sanding, polishing and paint correction to remove surface imperfections and achieve the required finish quality
- Carry out color matching, blending and spot repair to achieve a seamless finish
- Perform sealer application and touch-up work, paint repairs and local refinishing on aircraft exterior surfaces
- Prepare and apply technical markings, stencils, lettering, decals and insignias according to approved drawings and specifications
- Work according to OEM specifications, approved documentation and internal quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized and professional working environment

Your profile
- Proven professional experience as an aircraft painter, automotive painter or paint detailer
- Strong practical skills in, sanding and polishing, paint/spot repair and color matching
- Good understanding of finishing processes, paint systems and surface preparation
- Experience with technical markings, stencils and decals is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
- Ability to identify paint defects and independently determine the appropriate detailing or repair approach within approved processes
- Able to work independently as well as effectively within a team
- Comfortable working in a delivery-critical environment with changing priorities
- Comfortable working at height using lifts and scaffolding
- Comprehensive English skills; additional languages are an advantage
