Position Summary
Jet Aviation Completions is an innovative and evolving division, and we are looking for a driven and experienced Aircraft Project Operations Manager to lead our high-performing Technical Operations Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of this division, overseeing exciting projects, collaborating with cross-functional experts, and ensuring top-tier quality and compliance in a fast-paced, global environment.
The Aircraft Manager reports to the Director Cabin Installation Business Jet Completions and is responsible for Completions installation, Aircraft Testing on Business Jet Aircraft.
Your role
- Ensure full compliance of all project activities with Jet Aviation Part 145 approval requirements, applicable Airworthiness Authority regulations, and Jet Aviation Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality policies.
- Lead and manage Cabin Installation completion projects, ensuring delivery in accordance with agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Drive project schedule adherence by proactively managing timelines, monitoring progress against milestones, identifying risks and potential delays, and implementing recovery plans to ensure on-time project delivery.
- Manage project financial performance, including budget control, cost monitoring, capacity planning, and management of incidental project costs.
- Ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions resulting from internal, customer, or regulatory audits related to the area of responsibility.
- Continuously review and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and performance of Coordinators, Supervisors, and their teams, while supporting internal and external customer requirements.
- Ensure successful execution of Cabin Installation projects in compliance with applicable POE & MOE procedures, Process Specifications, Technical Instructions, and Airworthiness Authority requirements.
- Ensure projects meet all applicable regulatory and certification requirements (FOCA, EASA, FAA) and maintain full regulatory compliance throughout project execution.
- Lead and coordinate aircraft ground testing activities, including planning, preparation, and execution of ground tests, and chairing ground test readiness and coordination meetings with all related Stakeholders to ensure safe and compliant test execution.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Supply Chain Management (S.C.M.), and Production to align resources, resolve technical or operational issues, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring effective communication, cross-functional collaboration, and alignment with organizational objectives.

Minimum Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Solid and proven Supervisory experience within the Aviation business
- Understanding of finance, budgets, and successful management of teams within performance targets
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles (preferred)
- Green Belt/ Black Belt Certification (preferred)
- Demonstrated successful leadership experience within an aerospace organization (Completion Center, OEM, MRO business or similar)
- Experience of managing large and complex projects
