Position Summary
As an AOG Duty Manager at Jet Aviation, you will play a key role in supporting our customers during the most critical situations: when their aircraft is grounded. Our dedicated AOG team provides 24/7 worldwide coverage, responding quickly to customer requests and deploying the right resources to get aircraft back in service as fast as possible.
In this position, you will combine customer communication, technical coordination, and project management. From the first call to the final release of the aircraft, you will take ownership of the entire process - ensuring flawless execution, customer confidence, and seamless administration from quote-to-cash. This is a fast-paced, highly responsible role where every decision counts, and where your ability to act quickly and effectively directly impacts our customers and Jet Aviation’s reputation.
The role can be performed from any of our Swiss offices, such as Basel, Zurich, or Geneva. It follows a 4-days-on, 4-days-off shift pattern.
Your mission
- Serve as the first point of contact for 24/7 AOG requests, coordinating with customers, engineers, and partners to provide swift, effective solutions.
- Collect and analyze technical information from customers to support accurate fault evaluation and troubleshooting.
- Prepare detailed project estimates covering labor, materials, travel, and secure downpayments before aircraft release.
- Manage warranty claims with OEMs and document all activities in SAP and Salesforce systems.
- Oversee parts procurement and logistics, including ordering, shipping, and returning unused or exchange parts.
- Coordinate resources such as hangar space, tooling, and technical personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure seamless handovers between shifts, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Provide regular customer updates and support invoicing by delivering accurate billing data and margin approvals.

Your profile
- Technical degree (BTS, associate degree, or equivalent in a professional/technical field).
- Strong knowledge of the aerospace MRO industry, OEM processes, and regulatory frameworks.
- Background in aircraft project management or as a Senior Licensed Aircraft Technician/Engineer.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
- Excellent English skills (spoken and written); other languages are an advantage.
- Purchasing experience and strong supply chain awareness.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Problem-solver with resilience, initiative, and a can-do attitude.
- High sense of accountability and ability to deliver under pressure.
