B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Your Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our Bankstown Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul team. You will be working with an experienced and dedicated team carrying out a range of maintenance and modification activities on various aircraft types including King Air, Cessna, Dassault, Bombardier and SAAB product lines.
Your Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance in line with OEM and regulatory requirements.

Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Maintain accurate records, certifications, and maintenance documentation.

Conduct inspections, defect analysis, troubleshooting, and component maintenance.

Support aircraft servicing activities including refuelling, towing, and marshalling.

Ensure correct use of approved maintenance data, tools, and parts traceability.

Contribute to safety and quality programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Work collaboratively with LAMEs, engineers, and crew leaders to achieve operational excellence.

Maintain a clean and organised work area, supporting 5S and “Safety First” practices.

Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues, delivering service excellence.

Participate in ongoing training to maintain authorisations and technical currency.
What will help you to Succeed
- Minimum Certificate IV in Aeroskills.
- Able to perform various types of aircraft maintenance.
- Experience working in an aircraft maintenance facility.
- Ability to work in a changing environments.
- Demonstrated understanding of aviation regulatory and safety requirements performing aircraft maintenance.
- Computer literate in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and Office Suite.
- Common courtesy and customer orientation
- Ability to work flexible schedules and in various weather conditions as well as meeting minimum physical requirements of the job.
