Exciting Opportunity for CASA B1 and B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers in Exmouth!
Are you a skilled and passionate CASA B1 or B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge? We have an outstanding opportunity based in Exmouth—one of Western Australia’s most stunning coastal destinations.
As part of our specialised maintenance team, you will support Special Mission Bombardier CL-605 operations, working alongside experienced professionals in a rewarding and collaborative environment.
This role is offered as an initial 22-month fixed-term contract commencing March 2026, with the potential for extension based on performance and operational requirements. Type training is available.
Your Responsibilities
As a B1 or B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the airworthiness and mission readiness of two Special Mission Challenger CL-605 aircraft. Your responsibilities will include:

Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, coordination, and certification

Conducting inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs in compliance with CASA regulations

Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient task completion

Accurately documenting maintenance activities and maintaining up-to-date records

Adhering to—and promoting—a strong safety culture

Supporting ground handling and other line maintenance activities

Providing logistics support, including liaison with CAMO and supply chain teams
What will help you to Succeed in this role:

A valid CASA Part 66 Licence (B1 or B2)

Experience with Challenger 605 or similar aircraft (highly desirable)

Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems

Proven ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently and to a high standard

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A willingness to contribute effectively to a dynamic, mission-focused team that includes special mission experts, aircrew, and logistics personnel
