Position Summary
This position is responsible for carrying out work related to the removal, installation, maintenance repair and modification of aircraft cabin systems and components, typically water, waste and environmental within an aircraft P145 environment, to high degrees of accuracy and quality in compliance with budget, safety, and on-time delivery objectives.
Main Responsibilities
- Able to work individually without close instruction and within a team and responsible for the quality of their products and workmanship.
- Manufacture, repair, modify, remove or install high complex piping parts to technical specifications using standard tooling, machines and tube bending tools.
- Assembles/Installs high complex Systems (Water system, O2, Hydraulic high pressure) subassemblies and Main Assemblies IAW released documentation and standards onto the aircraft as first time or retrofit.
- Accomplishes inspection of existing Installations during maintenance and assists superiors to prepare manhour, schedule and material estimates for rectification action.
- Completes paperwork and digital administration for planned work, rectification actions, Additional Work Requirement proposals, fabrication, Installation and testing.
- Familiar with aircraft manuals such as AMM, IPC, CMM, SPM, EO’s, SB’s etc.
- Ensures good communication with the aircraft or shop team lead and within the other team disciplines, whilst supporting multiple projects in parallel.
- Ensures the jobs are performed on the project in accordance with the relevant documentation and processes, in a timely manner, and escalates constraints and potential delays to superiors.
- Supports team by liaising where necessary with interface department peers concerning issues and proposed amendments or product improvements.
- Responsible for the traceability of his/her products and tasks achievement
- Responsible of the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area
- Follows environmental and safety regulations
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Meets requirements for Workshop Technician (internal Level I)
- Good technical knowledge
- Basic level of English minimum A1 (A2 preferred) / Must be able to read and understand Engineering data and maintenance tasks in English manuals. Other languages (French and / or German) desirable
- Familiar with aviation authorities (FOCA, EASA, FAA,..) procedures and processes
- Strong personal values corresponding with Jet Aviation values (Trust, Honesty, Alignment, Transparency)
